Delta Manufacturing is committed to delivering our customers with the highest quality and most technologically advanced services and products at competitive prices.
Company Profile:Delta Manufacturing, is a Michigan based company that was established in June 2006. The owners of this new company are Harold and Jean Ross. In May 2006, Harold and Jean were approached by a group of seven individuals that had an idea of starting a new business servicing the rail industry with gear cases, plows, wear plates, miscellaneous items and specialty fabrication. After the initial approach of this business venture and numerous meetings, Harold and Jean agreed that this opportunity would benefit the community with new employment while offering the rail industry with top quality products and years of knowledgeable customer service.
A Qualified Team With Over 97 Years Experience
Harold and Jean Ross – President and Vice-President Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ross have been in the manufacturing business for over 30 years. Customer satisfaction and quality product is their main focus. They are new to the rail industry but with their knowledge and experience and belief in the team of employees, Delta Mfg will only continue to expand.
Tim Coble – Plant Manager With over 20 years of senior management and production experience within the rail industry, Tim joined the team at Delta Manufacturing in July 2006. With his expertise, Delta Mfg was able to build fixtures to manufacture pilot plows, EMD and GE style gear cases. Tim’s experience within the rail industry has brought numerous new projects to Delta Mfg.
Keith Soderman – Assistant Plant Manager Keith joined Delta Manufacturing in July 2006. His 10 years of Rail and Steel Fabrication experience had brought a large range of talent and knowledge. He was formerly a Machine Operator, continuing onto Safety Director with 30 years of Maintenance experience. With all of his expertise is a benefit to both Delta Manufacturing and our customers.
Norman “Norm” Lange – Plant Foreman Norm joined the team in July 2006, another strong asset to Delta Manufacturing with over 10 years experience in the rail industry. His knowledge and experience of the product line is very valuable and can’t be surpassed. Norm completes and oversees each customer order to ensure it is complete and correct.
Charron Benjamin – Office/Sales Manager/HR She joined Delta Mfg. in June 2006, bringing over 20 years of experience in the rail industry and senior management. She handles contract administration, export and state side customers. With her sales experience and knowledge she has been able to bring endless opportunities to Delta Mfg.
Wanda Soderman – Financial/Purchasing Manager Wanda brings years of office and purchasing experience with her. She joined the team in June 2006. Her competitive personality is an asset to Delta Manufacturing in regards to purchasing materials with a direct savings. This ability allows the company to supply the industry with a competitive priced product.
Joan Green – Traffic Manager She joined the team in September 2007, she brings 20 years of shipping and receiving experience Delta Manufacturing. She also ensures that all customer shipments are monitored to be shipped on time and guaranteed to reach its final destination.
